I have watched my dad’s (Chuck Baldwin) pastoral ministry at Crossroad Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL my entire life (now 31 years). My mom (Connie), sister (Sarah), brother-in-law (Allan), brother (Chris), sister-in-law (Jana), nieces and nephews (Emily, Amy, Jay, Charlie, James and Jeb), wife (Jennifer) and grandparents (Betty and Bill) have all served under my dad’s leadership voluntarily, willingly and joyfully (some longer than others, obviously). We all follow his patriarchal leadership because we know His desire is to honestly and correctly follow God’s natural and revealed laws. More than that, I watched my dad and mom at home every day growing up and into adulthood. I know their sincerity and purity. Durbin loves big government. Quick to condemn entire sectors of the American economy based on a few rotten apples, he rarely criticizes big government for doing too much regulating because he believes to his core that government is doing too little of it. You will not hear Durbin complaining that government power must be carefully checked to prevent abuse and to stem violations of civil or economic liberties. If you choose not to do the latter, you will be aiding Bolen in insinuating (but, in a clear sign of his insincerity and cowardice, NOT openly arguing) that what I truthfully report about myself, including a diagnosis of a disability, is false.  That is abuse of the disabled.  I am a member of a large and heterogeneous community of the disabled and those interested in our better treatment, which Bolen has flippantly threatened and demeaned throughout his "reporting" on DDI's suit, and if you do not agree to my offered solution, I will do nothing more or less than air my complaint among them. (NaturalNews) It's a war zone out there! ... if you're an oil platform worker, anyway. Another oil rig, the Vermilion Oil Rig 380, has exploded in the Gulf of Mexico, just a few miles from the infamous Deepwater Horizon that started the massive volcano of oil that poisoned the Gulf this summer. U.S. Coast Guard helicopters were immediately dispatched to the scene, where 13 workers were found floating (alive) in the water around the rig. The rig is reportedly on fire, but it is being reported by ABC News that the rig wasn't drilling for oil at the time of the explosion. A lawsuit has been launched against the sheriff's office in Marin County, Calif., over an episode in which deputies barged uninvited into a 64-year-old man's home and shot him three times with a Taser, screaming "stop resisting" while the incapacitated victim writhed in pain on the floor. The sheriff's version of the episode was that watching "selected" video segments of the events may mislead people.
